We welcome girls and boys from 6-14 years of age to join our Kids Ice Hockey Academy and learn how to play ice hockey in Cape Town. We teach from "How to skate" to "How to play" including all the fun and important ice hockey skills, game sense, teamwork and much more. Frequently Asked Questions
1. How old do you need to be to play ice hockey?
We accept girls and boys from 5 years of age and have players as old as 65 years too. So Ice hockey is suitable for all ages.
2. I dont know how to skate, can I still sign up?
Yes you can, we welcome all to come and join us. We teach how to skate too.
3. Do you have eqipment?
Yes, we offer equipment that can be used for all that sign up for the Learn To Play Program.
4. Who will be coaching me?
Our Internationally accredited coaches will be coaching, teaching and mentoring you.
5. When can I play a hockey game?
Once you area ready to be allocated to a team, coaches will assess you and then you have the option to sign up and play in our local ice hockey league.
6. What position will I play?
You can choose which position you wish to play and we will coach you with skills to play all of them.
